The iHelios foil can be installed in both depending on the preference of the customer. They do not take up much space and the heating films are invisible, installed between ceilings joints or under the flooring. The cost of installing in the ceiling is slightly lower than the floor due to lower material costs. Either way the performance of the film is not affected. The temperature distribution in the rooms of both will be comparable.
In the UK, iHelios providestraining in 3 ways.
1) Ideally the dealer and one or more staff (one of whom must be an electrician) visit the Hull location for a day of sales and installation training which covers the end business from quotations using the online tool, order process, installation and troubleshooting. This session can be streamed to remote staff in real time or recorded for local staff to access at any time.
2) the dealer arranges for an iHelios expert to attend one of their sites to take the local team through the entire installation process including the completion of one of the rooms at the customer site so that everyone in the team (including at least one electrician) sees exactly how to install the system. You can film this visit for training new employees that were not able to attend.
3) iHelios has an online program that shows how an install is planned and completed including the electrician’s certification so the customer gets the benefit of the 20-year warranty.
